Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in ensuring comprehensive cleanliness and sanitation across various areas, including patient rooms, common spaces, and ancillary facilities. The commitment includes a defined schedule with weekend and holiday responsibilities, alongside competitive compensation reflecting dedication to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning of designated spaces, which encompasses furniture, flooring, fixtures, and restrooms. Responsibilities include high and low dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness in elevators and stairwells.
  • Adhere strictly to organizational protocols and procedures.
  • Implement isolation protocols and Infection Prevention Standards, demonstrating knowledge of appropriate cleaning agents for various pathogens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, promptly reporting any safety concerns or maintenance needs.
  • Restock essential supplies such as paper products and hand sanitizers.
  • Install cubicle drapes in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Manage special project assignments, including coordinating with relevant departments for tasks such as wall cleaning and window washing.
  • Assist in moving furniture and equipment as necessary, following safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper mixing and storage of cleaning chemicals, utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Prepare beds according to specific requirements, utilizing tracking systems for bed management.
  • Return soiled and unused cleaning materials to designated areas.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Handle and dispose of various waste types in accordance with established procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

This position requires significant physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.

Supervision:

Work is conducted under the guidance of senior staff, with adherence to established practices and procedures.
