Key Account Specialist

Job Summary:The Key Account Specialist plays a crucial role in adding value to our sales team by selling BAPI's HVAC/R sensors using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products to their needs, resulting in revenue generation.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner.
- Make sales contacts, research customer needs, and develop application of products in an effective manner.
- Establish positive long-term relationships with customers by learning about their business, listening to and/or identifying their needs, and promoting appropriate BAPI products.
- Work with new and existing customers to develop relevant BAPI sales forecasts.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers.
- Evaluate product marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs.
- Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls on potential customers.
- Document all customer contacts according to procedures.
- Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to assure they are up-to-date on needed information.
- Associate's Degree, Trade, or Technical School.
- Three (3+) years' experience in sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
