About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Specialist to join our team at Building Automation Products, Inc. (BAPI). As a Key Account Specialist, you will play a critical role in selling BAPI's HVAC/R sensors to customers, utilizing your technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Strategy and Planning: Determine market strategies and goals for BAPI's products, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  2. Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and promoting BAPI's products as solutions.
  3. Sales Forecasting: Work with customers to develop relevant sales forecasts, identifying potential opportunities and challenges.
  4. Market Research: Conduct market research to determine customer needs and provide information to other staff members.
  5. Product Evaluation: Evaluate product marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs.
  6. Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers, showcasing BAPI's products and solutions.
  7. Closing Deals: Act to close deals and finalize contracts, meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's Degree or Trade/Technical School diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Three (3+) years of sales experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) and strong written and oral communication skills.
  3. Skills: Strong customer focus, positive attitude, professional phone voice and manner, time management, attention to detail, flexibility, and critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
