Job Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
Respond promptly to inquiries from guests and other departments. Prepare cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas. Access guest rooms by following established procedures to ensure safety and privacy. Replace guest amenities and supplies in the rooms. Change out soiled linens and towels with fresh items. Make beds and neatly arrange towels. Clean bathrooms thoroughly. Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items. Verify that all appliances are present and functioning properly. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with team members to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Related Work Experience:
No prior work experience required.
Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification:
None required.
