  • Compensation: $15 per hour.
Additional Responsibilities:
Given the dynamic nature of the hospitality sector, employees may be required to adapt to varying schedules to meet the operational needs of the hotel. Attendance at all mandatory training sessions and meetings is essential.
All employees must adhere to the rules and regulations of The Moonrise Hotel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
Teamwork and Supportive Skills:
  • Execute general cleaning duties using standard hotel cleaning supplies to comply with health regulations.
  • Address unexpected cleaning needs and fulfill special requests from guests.
  • Collaborate with fellow housekeeping staff to maintain clean and organized work and public spaces.
  • Seize every opportunity to impress guests with exceptional service.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints.
  • Anticipate and strive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Engage with guests and colleagues with a friendly demeanor, maintaining eye contact and a smile.
  • Wear the designated uniform and name tag with pride.
  • Handle special requests with care and attention.
  • Follow established protocols for entering guest rooms.
  • Maintain a low noise level in guest areas, particularly during morning hours.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, helpfulness, and a positive attitude as a team member.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and maturity in all interactions.
  • Foster a supportive environment for co-workers and supervisors.
  • Communicate relevant information effectively to supervisors and team members.
  • Care for shared equipment and workspaces.

  • Be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Experience Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and move efficiently for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to navigate the hotel premises promptly.
  • Capacity to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs consistently.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch as needed for cleaning tasks.
  • Skills in grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, and performing repetitive motions.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary; hospitality experience is a plus.
