Reliability and Maintainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to join our team in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, certifying, and supporting commercial airplanes by applying state-of-the-art reliability and maintainability engineering design, modeling, and analysis principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Use modeling, simulation, and data analytics methodologies and tools to analyze and optimize system performance.
- Serve as a technical specialist supporting other functional design groups during all stages of the airplane product development and support lifecycle.
- Responsible for aiding in determining program technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability, airplane operational availability, and maintenance cost.
- Design for Reliability and Safety: Validate and verify airplane and system design reliability requirements, allocate reliability requirements to suppliers, and perform failure modes, rates, effects, propagation, and detection analysis.
- Interaction with airplane system suppliers, business partners, airline customers, airplane development program leaders, and functional management is typical, as is a high level of communication between the R&M Engineering internal organization, program teams, and functional design areas.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is required.
