The Opportunity
We are seeking a Coordinator to become a vital part of our Contingent Compensation team located in Los Angeles. This team is responsible for managing royalties, revenue sharing, and profit participations associated with the distribution of our content and related rights, including merchandise, music, and games. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills and possess strong communication abilities. A background in interpreting contracts, handling extensive datasets, and enhancing workflows will be essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Tasks: Identify obligations related to royalties, revenue sharing, and profit participation as per contractual agreements. Facilitate the onboarding of payees and ensure timely distribution of statements and payments.
  • Inbound Tasks: Monitor anticipated income, verify the accuracy of incoming statements, and prepare invoices. This role may necessitate managing large datasets; familiarity with SQL, Google Scripts, and Airtable is advantageous.
  • Communication: Address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective relationship management.
  • Reporting: Track team deadlines, prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, monitor key performance indicators, and conduct ad-hoc analyses on collected data.
  • Process Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at innovating and enhancing Contingent Compensation processes to foster team success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to cultivate strong working relationships across diverse business partners.
  • Experience in managing large datasets, with familiarity in SQL, Google Scripts, and Airtable being a plus.
  • Self-driven, quick-thinking, and adaptable to change, with the ability to work independently and reliably under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges beyond your immediate expertise.
  • Commitment to understanding, advocating, and embodying the company's values and team objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation structure is based solely on an annual salary, without bonuses. Each year, you have the flexibility to choose how much of your compensation is allocated to salary versus stock options. To establish your market compensation, we consider various indicators, alongside your specific job family, background, skills, and experience. The compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $240,000.

Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, while full-time salaried employees enjoy immediate access to flexible time off.
