Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and repair major operating systems of the utility plant
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems
- Monitor and control the operation of equipment and systems
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- 1+ year related experience as a Stationary Engineer
- Ability to crawl inside boilers and equipment and lift tools
- Demonstrates the ability to tolerate and function in a hot environment for prolonged periods of time
- Has the ability to detect warning signals and equipment malfunctions, and to detect warning lights on alarms in a noisy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- City of Los Angeles Unlimited Steam Engineers License
CHLA offers a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs. The pay scale for this position is $58,240.00-$100,464.00, and final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including education and experience within the job or the industry.
