Civil/Structural Engineering Paid Student Intern

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in civil and structural engineering? SMRT Inc. offers a paid internship program for students pursuing a degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or marketing.

We are seeking motivated individuals who can work in-person in our office, located in the Northeast region. Our summer internship program runs for 12 weeks from June to August.

As a civil/structural engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to dive right into projects alongside our experienced architects and engineers. You will attend client and team meetings, tackle real-world challenges, and help shape the future of design.

You will also have the chance to collaborate on a cross-disciplinary project with your fellow interns and present your solution to the firm at Intern Summit.

We offer a competitive salary of $25/hour, which translates to approximately $50,000/year. Our internship program focuses on creating opportunities for our student interns to hone their skills and gain valuable real-life experience.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate, Bachelor of Science or Master Civil Engineering degree program.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
