Job Description
In this critical role, you will assist the stormwater engineering team in implementing the Stormwater Management Rules and reviewing land development projects. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing stormwater management plans and systems, conducting timely project reviews, evaluating stormwater problems, and communicating solutions to relevant stakeholders. You will also participate in compliance activities and ensure that stormwater management systems meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, and experience working within tight timelines
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to stormwater management
  • Familiarity with stormwater-related environmental laws and rules
  • Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including applicants, permittees, and project managers
