Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our Pediatric Neonatology team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical trials, managing research data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Study Coordination: Independently coordinate clinical trials, including screening patients for protocol eligibility, presenting trial concepts and details, and participating in the informed consent process.
- Data Management: Accurately collect, document, and report research data, including timely responses to sponsor queries.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations, including the FDA and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, regulatory coordinators, and other medical personnel to ensure seamless trial execution.
- Quality Assurance: Identify quality and performance improvement opportunities and collaborate with staff to develop action plans.
- Training and Education: Participate in required training and education programs to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Science, Sociology, or related field preferred; Master's Degree strongly preferred.
- Certifications: SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
- Experience: Two (2) years of clinical research-related experience required.
