Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, providing clear guidance to patients regarding their inquiries and concerns.
  • Efficiently organize and prioritize requests for medical documentation, ensuring timely routing based on patient examination schedules.
  • Facilitate the transfer of electronic medical records and imaging files onto CDs.
  • Deliver exceptional service to attorneys, referring physicians, and patients requesting medical documentation.
  • Occasionally travel to affiliated centers or medical offices for the delivery or collection of medical films and CDs.
  • Assist in cross-training within various departments as necessary.
  • Engage in projects and meetings, completing additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Proven dependability and professionalism, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical or radiology office setting (or completion of relevant medical office training).
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Ability to multitask, coupled with excellent customer service and communication skills. A clean driving record and the capability to lift up to 30 pounds are also essential.
