Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and meticulous Warehouse Receiving Associate to enhance our team. In this role, you will be integral to the efficient functioning of our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving and evaluating incoming shipments, accurately documenting and organizing inventory, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure that products are properly stocked and prepared for distribution. The ideal candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and assess incoming shipments, ensuring they correspond with purchase orders and are in satisfactory condition.
- Accurately log items into our business systems.
- Sort, label, and allocate incoming shipments to designated storage areas.
- Assist in inventory counting and verification processes.
- Manage inventory receipts, as well as customer and vendor returns.
- Keep NECI personnel informed about inventory-related issues, quality concerns, and discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and accomplish daily tasks.
- Adhere to company protocols and directives.
- Engage in the company's safety and health initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team and the business.
- Exemplify company values by participating in office events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a receiving associate role or similar position.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft 365, with the ability to quickly learn new business software.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Basic mathematical skills and recording abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Self-motivated, independent, and highly organized.
- Willingness to travel to other locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and handling heavy or awkward products.
- Ability to learn to operate large warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and cranes.
- A high level of mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn for career advancement.

The starting pay for this position will be competitive.
