Staff Clinician Position at University of Cincinnati

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Clinician to join our team at the University of Cincinnati. As a key member of our Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team, you will provide clinical counseling services to students, with a focus on the College of Design, Art, and Architecture (DAAP), Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), and Arts and Sciences (A&S).
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct counseling services to university students, including single session therapy, counseling, and emergency management.
- Develop and provide outreach to students, faculty, and staff, with a focus on the DAAP community.
- Consult with university community members regarding counseling needs and provide consultation to the university community.
- Serve as liaison for the counseling center to the university community and community agencies.
- Participate in training programs within the counseling center and develop and coordinate programs within the center.
- Collect data for program coordination and stay up-to-date on developments in the field of student mental health, cultural competency, and equitable access to services.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, or Doctorate Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
- Independently licensed or licensed eligible as a psychologist, social worker, or clinical counselor in the State of Ohio, with the ability to supervise in their discipline.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience.
The University of Cincinnati offers a competitive salary range of $63,000-$70,000, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
