About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operations Specialist to join our team at PCL Construction Resources (U.S.A.), Inc. in Denver, Colorado. As an Equipment Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer equipment transfers, accounting activities, and repair/service functions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation and payment.
  • Manage equipment title and Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) transfer and registration processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including district customers, accounting, and yard personnel.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as gathering quotes, researching specifications, and performing calculations for disposals and acquisitions.
  • Market and promote Equipment Operations products and services.
  • Participate in annual rental rate reviews, analyzing trends, life cycles, market rates, financials, and historical data.
  • Coordinate equipment freight and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field is considered an asset.
  • 2 years of experience in construction, rental, or equipment operations preferred.
  • Basic construction knowledge, including awareness of procedures, project life cycles, and construction resources and equipment.
  • Understanding of applicable procurement laws and regulations, procurement best practices, and supply chain processes.
  • Awareness of commonly used construction tools and equipment.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to understand and apply company specifications, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts.
  • Aptitude and desire for corporate responsibility, integrity, and business practices.
  • Valid driver's license required.
