Position Overview:

The Rental Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and processing rental contracts and projects within the department. This role also encompasses logistics coordination within Welch. It provides an opportunity to build relationships, gain insights into the forklift industry, and enhance rental business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process all rental inquiries
  • Source and coordinate the shipment of equipment
  • Oversee equipment transactions for used sales, trade-ins, and scrap
  • Process and maintain internal delivery documentation
  • Manage and invoice rental equipment agreements
  • Oversee the SM program for rental units
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment inventory
  • Track equipment efficiently
  • Provide prompt responses to inquiries
  • Assist with administrative and manual tasks during Annual Physical Inventory
  • Collaborate closely with the Rental Manager on equipment, transportation, and service requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience in the Material Handling industry, particularly with truck models and applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred knowledge of Transportation Coordination
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to multitask, plan, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail
  • Capability to apply sound judgment and reasoning
