Fannie Mae's 10-week paid internship program is designed to empower you to drive change, lead with creativity, and own your career. As a Human Resources Program Intern, you will be a true contributor on a team that fits your skills and interest in a dynamic environment alongside our employees.
The Impact You Will MakeAs a Human Resources Program Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with the HR Workforce Planning, Analytics, and Technology Products (WPATP) division. You will support enterprise change management strategies to maximize organizational adoption for the implementation of a Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Examples of Intern Tasks and Projects- Support the design, development, and delivery of change initiatives for an HCM implementation
- Contribute to the analysis of change impacts, training needs, and readiness assessments to determine program engagement, organizational readiness, and adoption of change measures
- Participate in the development and creation of training assets to educate and equip the organization on changes resulting from the implementation
- Draft, review, and update communications in support of the implementation program
- Assist in coordinating key change events such as expos and trainings
To be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred)
- Be a rising senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (2026 graduation date)
- Have a major in Human Resources, Business, Management, or Communication (preferred)
- Have demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere
- Be a self-starter with strong business acumen and results-focused
- Have superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Be fluent and apt with technology applications
