Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Human Resources (HR) Liaison to provide support to the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs (NA-10), Human Capital and Business Operations (HCBO). You will assist with daily business operations for NA-10 staff, gather and track weekly reports, provide analysis, and participate in various meetings.

Your weekly work routine will be discussed and agreed upon by the HCBO Deputy Director. A hybrid schedule is available: telework with occasional reporting onsite at the DOE Headquarters Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC. Core hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm ET.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide support to the HCBO Deputy Director, Human Resources and Performance (HR&P) Lead Analyst, and NA-10 staff as an HR Liaison processing personnel actions (new hires, details, reassignments, realignments, and promotions) in Corporate Human Resources Information System (CHRIS) Workflow.
  • Update and maintain data for staffing roster, organizational charts, Defense Programs statistics table, HCBO slides, HCBO SharePoint site, and hiring spreadsheets including analyzing data and processes to develop reports.
  • Ensure incoming federal personnel information is shared with HCBO team members.
  • Assist with Performance Appraisal Management System (PAMS) activities.
  • Communicate and interact with diverse teams, leadership, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Review and provide input to policy and process improvement documents.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of professional federal HR/HR liaison experience in a similar role (experience with federal government).
  • Experience managing highly confidential information (PII).
  • Excellent interpersonal, ability to work with a team, task management, and both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen research abilities, organizational skills, detail-orientation, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Adobe, and SharePoint.
  • DOE/NNSA experience strongly preferred.
