HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible in planning, organizing and direction over all aspects of the Human Resources function of the Hospital and Sub-Acute in conjunction with the corporate Human Resources team. Manages all Human Resources Department operations and functions at assigned facility; this includes establishing and administering the hospital personnel program including recruiting, selection/retention, salary administration, job descriptions and evaluation of competencies, personnel policies, governmental regulations/law and labor relations, and special projects. Serves as resource for Department Managers regarding staff development, progressive discipline and compliance with current employment laws. Assist with the administration of all employee benefits programs (i.e., medical plans, disability, workers' compensation, retirement savings plans, etc.).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Behavioral Science or related field, preferred.

Licenses/Certification: PHR or SPHR certificate desirable.

Experience: Five (5) years of management experience in Human Resources or (3) years in a leadership role within a Human Resources Department, preferably in a healthcare setting.
