Position Overview:

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for providing an outstanding experience for all stakeholders through effective facility management. This role encompasses the planning, organization, budgeting, and coordination of maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and services across the organization. The Facilities Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of facility management, including maintenance projects, vendor partnerships, and adherence to safety regulations, ensuring that our facilities align with operational requirements and maintain high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a detailed facilities maintenance strategy to guarantee the continuous upkeep of all locations.
  • Lead and guide facility personnel to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service quality.
  • Manage daily operations related to maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify facility needs, provide project updates, and implement solutions that enhance the experience for employees and members.
  • Ensure compliance with building security protocols, including codes, alarms, and access management.
  • Establish and oversee budgets for facility operations, ensuring financial responsibility and cost-effective vendor management.
  • Coordinate mail distribution and manage facilities audits and compliance checks.
  • Supervise external vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring adherence to service agreements and quality standards.
  • Optimize facility space utilization to meet the evolving needs of the organization, including office layouts and furniture arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and budget oversight.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations.
  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Facility Manager, are preferred.
