Role Summary:

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for all stakeholders through effective facility management. This role encompasses the planning, organization, budgeting, and coordination of maintenance, cleaning, and repair services across the organization. The manager will oversee all aspects of facility operations, manage maintenance projects, foster vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive facilities maintenance strategy to guarantee the upkeep of all properties.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to facility personnel to ensure optimal operations and service excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations related to maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to assess facility requirements, provide project updates, and implement enhancements that improve the experience for employees and members.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, security protocols, and compliance audits for all facilities.
  • Establish and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and effective vendor management.
  • Supervise mail distribution processes.
  • Conduct regular facilities audits and compliance checks.
  • Manage external vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with service agreements.
  • Optimize facility space utilization to support evolving business needs and growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and budget oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Professional certification as a Certified Facility Manager is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, use a keyboard, and engage with multiple monitors and a telephone.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling may be necessary.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 20 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $97,000 annually, based on experience.
