We are a leading technology company seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to drive our people operations and contribute to our mission of excellence.

Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources and Operations will be responsible for leading our global people operations, providing strategic and operational leadership across people initiatives, and working closely with our Senior Management Team to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement people strategies aligned with our business goals, including performance management, skills development, career pathing, employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration.
  • Manage employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, learning and development, and other HR functions.
  • Collaborate with directors and managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
  • Partner with functional divisions to develop our culture, promote our mission and values, and retain top talent.
  • Improve global cross-company communication and collaboration, focusing on customer centricity.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and mentor our global people operations team members.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact our ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
Requirements
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Business acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, as well as basic laws and talent practices in countries where we have offices.
  • Employee relations and change management expertise.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, making strategic and tactical decisions on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Ability to influence and partner with all levels of the organization to achieve results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, required; Master's Degree in a related field and professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) highly desirable.
  • 7-10 years of progressive strategic experience in Human Resources, preferably in a start-up tech environment.
  • Experience with building and scaling performance management, employee retention, and culture improvement programs.
  • Talent acquisition experience, specifically building sales and engineering teams.
  • Experience with best practices in benefits and compensation administration and other HR programs.
  • Prior experience leading global HR operations, experience in India and Canada, preferred.
