About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our Alternatives Specialist Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and consultants to introduce our investment solutions and product capabilities in the alternatives space, with a specific focus on Private Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary coverage of institutional clients to drive sales and AUM through Private Real Estate strategies
  • Working directly with institutional clients/consultants and in coordination with RMs across the DWS coverage organization
  • Organizing and participating in meetings and events with both existing and potential clients
  • Cover and build relationships with real estate consultants, working in close tandem with the Consultant Relations team
  • Presenting DWS's Private Real Estate product suite, performances, and characteristics of existing and conceptual solutions, portfolio attributions, and investment outlook to existing clients and prospects
  • Develop a marketing strategy as a global Product Champion for real estate strategies
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading client strategies
  • Work closely with in-house product and legal teams to coordinate new product design, structuring, and launch
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in investor relations/fundraising/sales, with a proven track record of raising capital in the institutional marketplace for Private Real Estate
  • Deep product knowledge in alternative investments with Private Real Estate experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to understand all investment nuances but also be able to translate complex investment strategies into an investor-friendly format
  • Must be detail-oriented and have an analytical mindset with the ability to deliver key insights
