Bank Operations Specialist

The Bank Specialist-Deposit Operations plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of deposit accounts. This role involves interacting with customers to address their inquiries and concerns, as well as performing daily tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve issues.
- Deposit Account Management: Process requests for documentation, account verifications, and exceptions, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communication: Communicate with customers regarding unauthorized Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and complete written statements when necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Research and resolve issues that impact client deposit accounts, ensuring that all problems are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Reporting and Review: Review daily reports monitoring accounts and transactions, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including sorting inter-office mail, processing daily work through the Branch Capture system, and balancing the ATM nightly.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: No experience required, but 1+ years' experience in a financial institution preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
