Bank Operations Specialist

The Bank Specialist-Deposit Operations plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of deposit accounts. This role involves interacting with customers to address their inquiries and concerns, as well as performing daily tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to deposit accounts, providing timely and accurate information to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Account Maintenance: Process requests for documentation, account verifications, and exceptions, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communication: Communicate with customers regarding unauthorized Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and complete written statements when necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Research and resolve issues that impact client deposit accounts, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to resolve the issue.
- Reporting: Review and analyze reports to monitor accounts and transactions, identifying any discrepancies or issues that require attention.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform daily administrative tasks, including sorting inter-office mail and processing work through the Branch Capture system.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of experience in a financial institution preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; effective communication and problem-solving skills.
