Job Title: Life Safety Service Sales Representative

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Safety Service Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling electronic fire service offerings to customers and end-users within assigned territories and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire sales process, from uncovering opportunities to closing deals and providing ongoing customer service.
  • Work closely with sales, technical, design engineering, service, support, and management teams to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support achieving sales plan objectives.
  • Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates and develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, and make presentations to close sales.
  • Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact and pursue additional sales opportunities.
  • Perform periodic market investigations within assigned territories to develop new applications and provide sales forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the fire alarm industry and ability to obtain necessary licenses.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to close sales.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer experience, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and job costing systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering preferred.
