Sales Representative

About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our sales team. As a Design Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Matching our products and services to clients' needs
- Closing appointments by demonstrating our unique value proposition and building trust and credibility
- Executing all systems and procedures to ensure client satisfaction and avoid order errors
- Measuring, recording, and configuring specifications accurately and efficiently
- Providing high-level client service and follow-up in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Being flexible to the needs of the business, including appointment scheduling, time off requests, and attending team meetings and training

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Quick learning and adaptability, with the ability to handle competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express thoughts and ideas in a positive, respectful, and productive manner
- High school degree or equivalent, with some college work preferred
- Availability to work full-time, five days per week, with one weekend day
- Proficiency with using a PC and Microsoft Windows-based programs
- Ability to quickly learn and follow new technology processes and systems
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- 2-5 years of relationship selling experience in in-home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom products/services, or retail environment in a similar field
- Education or experience in design and decor preferred
- Experience with POS systems preferred
