Job Summary:

AdventHealth Primary Health Division is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to join our team in the greater Orlando area. As a key member of our primary care network, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our physicians to provide exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Practice: Perform physical examinations, assess and treat injuries or illnesses for patients of all ages, including women's health.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and X-ray exams.
  • Medical Management: Independently and collaboratively manage acute and chronic conditions, making referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our physicians and staff to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
  • Professional Development: Demonstrate a caring and professional attitude, maintaining personal and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies, with 1-2 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license, DEA license, and ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA certification.
  • Skills and Qualities: Enthusiastic team player, strong medical decision-making and communication skills, willingness to learn, flexibility, and adaptability.
