About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team at Soliant. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide essential support in delivering speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Licensed Professionals: Work alongside licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Implement Therapy Activities: Develop and implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Support Student Development: Assist students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
  • Prepare Therapy Materials: Contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Certification: Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program and state certification or licensure as required by regulations.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
