About the Role

Criterion Child Enrichment is seeking a highly skilled Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of infants and toddlers with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Intervention Plans: Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers.
  • Provide Parent Coaching and Support: Utilize a parent coaching model to support families in their child's development, providing guidance and resources to help them navigate the early intervention process.
  • Conduct Screenings and Assessments: Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify the needs of infants and toddlers, and develop strategies to support their development.
  • Collaborate with Community Providers: Work with community providers, including child care providers, medical providers, and social service agencies, to ensure continuity of services and support for families.
  • Provide Service Coordination: Coordinate the development, monitoring, and review of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to ensure that families receive the support and services they need to promote their child's development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of early intervention principles and practices.
