Position Overview

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Spanish-Speaking Speech Language Pathology Assistant. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver therapeutic services to individuals experiencing communication and swallowing challenges, along with a range of other related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the licensed Speech Language Pathologist in assessing and diagnosing clients.
  • Execute treatment strategies formulated by the Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in both English and Spanish to enhance speech and language capabilities.
  • Track and record patient progress meticulously.
  • Assist in educating clients and their families on effective communication techniques.
  • Work in conjunction with the Speech Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
  • Possession of state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to function effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for following instructions and working under guidance.
  • Willingness to enhance and develop Speech Pathology skills through practical experience.
