Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide every guest with a warm and genuine welcome; anticipate their needs and respond accordingly; express gratitude and offer a pleasant farewell.
  • Embody the Tacombi Service Culture, ensuring that the Tacombi Experience is reflected in all guest interactions.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism to guarantee guest satisfaction; ensure that your work area and attire are always tidy.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of restaurant policies, Tacombi Brand values, and menu items, including their presentation.
  • Prepare your station by setting up and stocking appropriately to ensure readiness before service, following Tacombi's side-work checklist.
  • Adhere to Tacombi safety protocols, service guidelines, health department regulations, and principles of Mexican Hospitality.
  • Deliver and present menu items to guests; be knowledgeable and ready to address any inquiries regarding our offerings.
  • Assist in clearing plates and support bussers by never returning to your station empty-handed.
  • Communicate any special dietary needs and requests to the Chef.
  • Remain attentive to guest needs throughout their dining experience to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Capability to handle and move objects weighing up to 20lbs.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to carry 3-5 plates at a time.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
