**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to represent EmblemHealth's business interests in the health insurance industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention, and driving growth through upselling additional coverage and lines of business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Present and successfully close client renewals by analyzing renewal proposals and preparing supporting material.
  • Routinely visit clients and/or their consultants, keeping them informed of issues that may impact benefits and rates.
  • Oversee and manage the administration of client benefit plans, resolving service inquiries and administrative requests in a timely fashion.
  • Foster client satisfaction, retention, and growth by collaborating with other areas of EmblemHealth.
  • Present year-end reports highlighting the value proposition of the plan and identify opportunities for upselling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a health insurance field with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of pricing and underwriting, financial arrangements, benefit programs, and utilization management.
  • NYS Health/Life Agents license within 60 days of employment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the health insurance industry.
  • Strong consulting, presentation, negotiation, and selling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range:** $45-$60 per hour.
