Primary Responsibilities:

The primary objective of the Technical Trainer role is to deliver thorough training for apprentices and enhance the skills of current employees in areas such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics. This includes:

  • Designing and implementing training sessions that align with both curriculum standards and organizational objectives.
  • Providing essential materials and equipment for practical training experiences, fostering an effective learning atmosphere.
  • Creating instructional materials, including manuals and presentations, to facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Conducting training sessions that cover critical technical competencies, employing diverse teaching methods to engage participants.
  • Facilitating tutoring sessions to assist apprentices in their learning journey.
  • Preparing apprentices for assessments through comprehensive review and practice sessions.
  • Evaluating trainees' progress through constructive feedback on tests and projects.
  • Coordinating training initiatives in collaboration with HR and other departments to enhance educational opportunities.
  • Organizing presentations and tours for educational institutions to promote vocational training.
  • Participating in events that foster networking between apprentices and industry professionals.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts for future apprentices by promoting training programs.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a technical training capacity, particularly in electrical or mechanical engineering, is preferred.
  • Experience in mechatronics maintenance is highly valued.
  • Background in curriculum development and instructional design is beneficial.

Skills:

  • Completed education in relevant technical fields.
  • Certification in trainer education from a recognized institution.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in using technology for training material development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel for training-related activities.
  • Ability to adapt training approaches to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and objectives.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards in relevant engineering fields.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles to create effective training experiences.
