Position Overview

The role of the Technical Trainer is crucial in fostering the growth of apprentices and enhancing the skills of current employees in the domains of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics. This position entails the design, organization, and execution of effective training programs aimed at cultivating technical expertise and knowledge among participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement training sessions tailored for apprentices and current staff, ensuring alignment with educational standards and company objectives.
  • Provide essential resources, equipment, and tools for practical training experiences, creating an optimal learning atmosphere.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and simulations, to facilitate effective instruction.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions that cover essential qualifications and technical skills, employing diverse teaching methods to captivate learners.
  • Organize tutoring sessions to support apprentices in their educational journey, offering guidance and assistance as necessary.
  • Prepare apprentices for assessments through thorough review sessions and practice tests.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on assessments, projects, and technical discussions to monitor trainees' development.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to coordinate both internal and external training initiatives, enhancing learning opportunities.
  • Conduct informative presentations and guided tours for educational institutions to promote vocational training and attract prospective apprentices.
  • Engage in apprentice-related events, fostering networking and collaboration among trainees and industry experts.
  • Support the recruitment of future apprentices by promoting training programs and conducting informational workshops.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in a technical training capacity, particularly in electrical and mechanical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics, is preferred.
  • A background in the maintenance of mechatronic systems or machinery is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is advantageous.
  • Completion of technical education in relevant fields is required.
  • Certification in trainer education from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency in utilizing IT tools and software for the creation and delivery of training materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry advancements.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training-related purposes.
  • Ability to adapt training approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively to achieve training goals.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards in the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to create impactful training experiences.
