Assistant Team Leader for Bridge Inspection Projects

Position Summary:
SIE is currently on the lookout for an Assistant Team Leader for Bridge Inspection to join our team. This role will support various bridge inspection projects, including long span, roadway, and rail bridge inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary in-office support for field inspections, including the creation of inspection documentation forms prior to fieldwork.
- Conduct field inspection tasks and generate subsequent inspection reports in alignment with client specifications.
- Travel to designated project locations as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in bridge inspection, design, or related activities.
- Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course.
- FE/EIT certification.

Additional Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Physically capable of performing tasks associated with the position, including working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts.
- Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other relevant agencies in NY and NJ.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microstation/AutoCAD.
- Valid Driver's License.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $72,800 - $93,600 annually. Actual compensation will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
