Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and proficient Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our vibrant team. In this leadership role, you will oversee and direct a group of inspectors responsible for performing detailed evaluations of bridge structures. Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of bridge inspectors, offering guidance and support.
- Plan and organize bridge inspections in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of bridge structures, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports.
- Evaluate inspection data to determine structural integrity.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to effectively communicate inspection outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid Professional Engineering License.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge inspection.
- Completion of extensive training courses, including NHI coursework in Bridge Inspection and related fields.
- Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Thorough knowledge of bridge inspection methodologies and reporting procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical capability to navigate steep terrains, work in confined spaces, and perform inspections at heights, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and AutoCAD.
