Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead bridge inspection projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Manage and supervise a team of bridge inspectors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement inspection plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, documenting findings and reporting results.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies.
Requirements
  • Active New York and New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of recent bridge experience in inspection as a Team Leader.
  • Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks associated with the position, including working at heights.
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills.
  • Driver's License.
