Join Our Team as a Human Factors Engineering Intern

At Regent Services, we're revolutionizing coastal transportation with our innovative seaglider technology. As a Human Factors Engineering Intern, you'll play a crucial role in designing and evaluating the human interfaces for our seaglider systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new feature concepts for seaglider human interfaces
  • Establish and maintain REGENT UI/UX standards and design language
  • Conduct safety and usability evaluations of seaglider human interfaces
  • Identify human factors requirements and create test procedures
Requirements:
  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Factors Engineering, Engineering Psychology, or related fields
  • Proficiency in using common rapid prototyping tools (Figma, etc.)
  • Research or coursework in Aviation/Maritime Human Factors, or flying, boating, or sailing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including technical documentation
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about solving problems
  • Adaptable and flexible with moving deadlines and tasking
Desired Skills:
  • Scripting and data analysis in Python, R, or other language
  • Proven ability to write usability test plans and reports
  • Experience working on safety-critical systems
  • Aerospace or nautical vehicle system development
  • Requirements development and/or test management
