Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop static and kinematic systems for the seaglider
  • Work closely with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop propulsion test fixtures, component enclosures, and fixturing
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical systems to ensure safety and quality

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace or Aviation field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably NX
  • Experience with complex kinematic systems and analytical software
  • Strong organization and communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with motion control integration and high-power electric propulsion systems
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing, composite layup, welding, and hand fabrication techniques
