Red Stone Properties is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant to provide direct support for processing various types of financial transactions and some collection duties with a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Processing: Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable invoices to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and that vendors are paid timely.
- Invoice Entry: Enter invoices for a specific set of entities.
- Approval and Compliance: Obtain appropriate approval for payment of invoices received and ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve all discrepancies associated with the processing of invoices.
- Collection Activities: Send out collection letters.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Experience: At least 1 year relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred in accounting or financial discipline.
- Technical Skills: Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting and Microsoft Office programs.
- Communication Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial data and possess strong communication skills to handle diverse scenarios.
