About the Role

RISE INC FAMILY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in various settings, including residential homes, day programs, and community-based programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
  • Encourage social interactions and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each person.
  • Collaborate with the support team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Document and report on individual progress and any concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
