About the Role

RISE INC FAMILY is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to individuals with daily living, hygiene, meal prep, mobility, and behavioral supports.
  • Implement the RISE INC FAMILY Mission, Vision, and Values in all aspects of your work.
  • Promote the rights of individuals with disabilities and contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
  • Follow client plans to achieve desired outcomes and provide supports as indicated.
  • Keep accurate electronic and paper documentation, including data tracking and incident reports.

Requirements

  • Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Approved Background Clearance Application, through the Office of Licensing annually.
  • Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required.
  • Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting individuals, if applicable.
  • Access to a telephone.
  • Must be able to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
