Job Overview: As a Logistics and Installation Specialist at Cooking & Appliance Center, you will represent our brand by delivering and setting up products directly for our esteemed clientele. Your role encompasses not only the logistics of transportation but also delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression. This position combines professional driving with the hands-on installation of large appliances, all while upholding a courteous and ethical approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery & Setup: Safely transport and potentially install merchandise at customers' residences or businesses, ensuring all products are connected according to installation guidelines.
  • Adhere to Schedule: Ensure timely delivery of products in excellent condition.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide outstanding customer service through professional communication and a positive demeanor with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive Thinking: Anticipate needs and seek ways to enhance efficiency, sharing insights with the team.
  • Safety & Compliance: Operate delivery vehicles with care, obeying all traffic regulations and adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Product Management: Secure and load merchandise properly to prevent damage during transit.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist in warehouse operations by preparing and distributing products, while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Issue Reporting: Promptly inform your supervisor of any damaged or missing items, customer concerns, traffic violations, accidents, or injuries.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Commercial Drivers License: Must possess a valid CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds without limitation.
  • Certification: Lift gate certification may be necessary.
  • Background Verification: Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in training sessions as required to remain informed about company policies and procedures.
  • Wear company uniforms or comply with the dress code, ensuring a neat and professional appearance.
  • Dispose of packing materials, debris, and appliances appropriately as instructed.
