Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the installation, modification, and minor repairs of computer hardware and software systems. This role involves providing technical assistance and support to users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
The following duties are essential to the role:

  • Install hardware components, including monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives at user locations.
  • Load necessary software packages, such as operating systems and office applications.
  • Offer support to end users through telephone, in-person, and online channels.
  • Communicate updates and completion statuses to management and users through various communication methods.
  • Connect users to networks and provide initial training on facilities and applications.
  • Manage email and antivirus systems effectively.
  • Ensure regular backups of firm data.
  • Assist in the research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role within a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess the necessary technical knowledge to perform job functions effectively.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Work Environment
This position operates under a standard work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
