Area Supervisor

The Area Supervisor is a key member of the Store Leadership team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific area of the store. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Safe and Secure Environments: Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Immediately correct any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
- Customer Service: Treat all customers, associates, and other leaders with respect. Demonstrate courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism at all times.
- Personal and Store Brand: Represent and support the Company brand at all times. Maintain a professional appearance, in accordance with Company Dress Code.
- General Merchandising: Ensure recovery, sizing, and markdowns are completed to Company standards. Process all merchandise with a sense of urgency.
- Loss Prevention: Understand and comply with the Loss Prevention Awareness Program. Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to prevent loss.
- Front End Supervision and Operations: Execute all Company Best Practices and maximize productivity by minimizing steps and extra touches when working.
- Fitting Rooms: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Fitting Rooms.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure Cash pulls and bank deposits are conducted to Company policy. Responsible for payroll administration, including daily punch edits and Associate scheduling compliance.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
