Job Summary
Ochsner Health System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day management of the department, providing clinical and technical support to assigned staff, and coordinating workflow and staffing patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day management of the department
- Provide clinical and technical support to assigned staff
- Coordinate workflow and staffing patterns
- Assume responsibility for following, monitoring, and reporting of statistical guidelines and metrics
- Plan, organize, and conduct discipline-specific treatment programs
- Participate in staff education and continuing education programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy
- 1 year of clinical experience in specialty area
- Preferred 3 years of experience as a staff therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current state professional license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to travel throughout and between facilities
