Medical Office Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Financial Advocate to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital. As a key member of our Patient Access department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient registration and admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and collect patient information to complete registration for hospital services
- Coordinate admissions process and communicate with physician offices and other healthcare stakeholders
- Collaborate with Patient Access management to ensure efficient and effective patient registration
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
