Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Asset Protection Manager to join our team at Lowe's Companies, Inc. This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing asset protection, safety, and operational shrink within the district, ensuring that these programs achieve key company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Asset Protection Strategies: Develop and implement tactical plans aligned with asset protection, safety, and business strategies to drive business results and minimize losses.
  • Conduct Store Walk-Throughs and Evaluations: Perform regular store walk-throughs and evaluations to review the overall safety, security, and operational efficiency of stores, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and support to store-based Asset Protection and Safety Managers and Senior Asset Protection Managers, as well as district-level team members, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute asset protection, safety, and operational retail processes and initiatives.
  • Manage Expense Accounts and Budgets: Manage expense accounts in assigned stores for key controllable expenses, such as loss prevention payroll, safety and security, monitoring equipment, chargeable causality, cash short and over, shrink, and damages.
  • Build Relationships and Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal and external leaders and stakeholders, including regional, district, and store leadership teams, to drive business results and minimize losses.
  • Develop and Present Communications: Develop and present communications, frequently to store, district, and regional leadership, to ensure that asset protection, safety, and operational strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct Investigations and Analyze Data: Conduct investigations and analyze data to identify trends and root causes of shrink and safety incidents, implementing corrective actions to minimize losses and improve safety.
  • Validate Execution of Shrink Programs: Validate execution of shrink programs across the district, ensuring that stores are implementing effective shrink reduction strategies and achieving key company objectives.
  • Partner with Store Leadership to Improve Customer Experience: Partner with store leadership to review store operating systems, policies, procedures, and processes for opportunities to improve the customer experience while controlling expenses and maximizing margins.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a retail or professional environment in loss prevention or 5 years of experience in a multi-store big box retail environment
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience analyzing and using varied sources of data to understand underlying drivers of complex problems, experience working closely with cross-functional teams, and experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
