About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and acquire and analyze data using ultrasound equipment
  • Use independent judgment and systematic problem-solving methods to produce high-quality diagnostic information and optimize patient care
  • Provide a summary of findings to the physician or healthcare provider to aid in patient diagnosis and management
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registered or ARDMS candidate
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-approved school of Ultrasonography or equivalent education and clinical experience
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • Specific experience and training in Ultrasound and proficient knowledge of Ultrasound Equipment
